Book The Paws & Play Paddock
Booking Arrangements: Booking can be made exclusively through Paws And Play Yorkshire Ltd's website (www.pawsandplayyorkshire.co.uk) and is only valid once confirmed via the confirmation email.
Payment: Payment must be made in order for the booking to be valid and must be made at the point of booking on Paws And Play Yorkshire Ltd's website. Instructions of how to enter the paddock will be sent in the confirmation email including the padlock code. Paws And Play Yorkshire Ltd are not responsible for the user arriving for their session without taking note of the code. No refund will be due in this case. The field can only be used if it has been booked and paid for and receipt via email has been received.
Entering/Leaving the paddock: To access the paddock (and the main blue gates), the user must refer to their confirmation of booking email (which they will receive upon successful payment) for the padlock code which changes at least once daily. Users must therefore refer to the code sent to them at the time of booking. It is the responsibility of those using the field to book a slot which allows enough time to unload their animals, use the field and get them back into their vehicles afterwards within their time slot. The slot is not just for use of the field but loading/unloading as well. Users must ensure they have vacated the paddock before their slot ends to ensure they do not run over into the next user's booked session.
Users must inspect the field to ensure that it is suitable for use by their dog(s), fence height, proximity to road etc.
It is the user’s responsibility to ensure both green gates are secure from the inside whilst they are in the field.
Please note: the car park is not secure so please keep all dog on leads until you have entered the vestibule and securely closed the green gate behind you.
Please keep dogs in your vehicle until the previous users have loaded their dogs back in their vehicle.
Liability: No responsibility will be taken by Paws And Play Yorkshire Ltd, the land owners or organisers for any damage or injury sustained to vehicles, property, individuals or animals whilst using the field or on the premises.
All vehicles parked on the premises are left entirely at the user's risk. No responsibility for damage, accidents or otherwise can be taken by the management of Paws And Play Yorkshire Ltd. Parking is only permitted for users of the Paws & Play Paddock for the duration of the booked session. Parking is anywhere within the blue gates, on the gravel/hardcore. Access via the blue gates must be maintained at all times.
Any breakages or damage to the field including but not limited to; the surrounding fence, gates, car park and adjacent building will be paid for by the user.
All dogs using the paddock must be fully up-to-date with their inoculations. Should a dog be showing signs of being unwell and in particular Kennel Cough, they can not attend or enter the paddock.
Cancellation Policy: If the user arrives late, the booking cannot be extended. Cancellations are not accepted so the user must use their best judgement with regards to adverse weather etc. before booking the paddock.
Bookings are non-transferable. The person making the booking must be present and must ensure that anyone else attending with them is made aware of and adheres to the Terms and Conditions.
Code of Ethics: Choke chains and prong collars are not allowed or supported when using the paddock. Harsh handling of dogs, either verbal or physical is not allowed and any users displaying this behaviour (via CCTV) will be banned from booking the paddock again.
Maintenance: The user must bring their own poo bags and remove ALL of their dog's waste and dispose of it in the smelly bin which is located on the wall of the building. No litter is to be left in the field or put in the smelly bin and should be taken home with the user.
We inspect the paddock and fencing regularly to maintain security but please notify us if you have any concerns.
In some cases, areas of the grass may remain uncut. This is deliberate as we have found the dogs love frolicking through it.
During winter the paddock may be muddy so please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and shoes. We reserve the right to close the paddock if ground conditions are too wet.
Children are welcome on the field but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Any equipment within the paddock including but not limited to; tyres and cable reels are designed to be used by dogs and if children or adults climb them, they do so at their own risk.
Dog trainers working with their clients will only be allowed by prior arrangement. Please contact us for more information. No sub letting of the field is allowed. Dog birthday parties and specific breed meets (e.g. Cocker Spaniel Meet) are allowed and we encourage them! Please contact us to book. We will help you advertise your specific breed meet too!
